Edoardo (Edo) Simone Paluan is an Italian physicist, entrepreneur, and former fashion model whose multifaceted career spans scientific research, technology startups, and creative ventures. Born in December 1993 in Milan, Italy, Paluan pursued a Master of Science in Physics (Msci) at King's College London, graduating with distinction. His academic interests centered on astrophysics and nanotechnology, leading to projects like constructing a small-scale Michelson interferometer to simulate gravitational wave detection, akin to the LIGO experiment. He documented this work in a technical report available on ResearchGate.
 

During his time at King's College London, Paluan was instrumental in revitalizing the university's telescope, aiming to enhance both research and public engagement in astronomy. He chronicled this initiative through his blog, "Lux Ex Stellis," where he shared insights on astrophysics and his experiences as a physics student.
 

Parallel to his academic pursuits, Paluan ventured into the fashion industry. Scouted while working at Abercrombie & Fitch, he modeled for agencies such as Nevs in London and D’Management in Milan. His modeling career included appearances at London and Milan Fashion Weeks, as well as various editorials and lookbooks. In interviews, he expressed a passion for judo, sailing, and Italian culture.
 

Transitioning into the tech sector, Paluan co-founded Yo-Da (Your Data) Limited, a startup focused on data privacy and user empowerment. The company participated in programs like Entrepreneur First and PUBLIC's GovStart, reflecting its innovative approach to technology solutions. He also helped launch LottoBillions, with Andrew Collinge, Michiel van der Klooster, Zakhir Valimohamed, and Nooreddin Valimohamed, which brought the EuroMillions lottery online.
